We were privileged to be invited on to BFM's podcast segment "Open For Business", which discusses how local businesses have been pivoting to survive (and thrive) in the pandemic that has ravaged our country and economy.
Our Director, Jeremy Dev, had an insightful and productive chat with BFM's Audrey Raj in this 25-minute podcast, covering how Far Post Academy's growth had been heavily impacted by COVID and its accompanying restrictions since early 2020. The resulting pivot towards 100% online classes has been a challenging but ultimately fruitful journey for our team, and we are proud to say that we are reaching kids throughout Malaysia who would otherwise not have an avenue for sports, let alone futsal, throughout this lockdown period.
Learning futsal online is a novel experience, as futsal is a contact team sport that thus far has only been played in person. In this interview, Jeremy and Audrey also discuss all the challenges that accompany such a huge paradigm shift as this - from technology, to equipment, to child engagement, and so on. And, they discuss Far Post Academy's plans and aspirations for the future, and what the resolution of the pandemic will mean for our team and the kids we coach.
As our online classes continue to grow and take root, we invite you to be a part of our journey! Listen to the podcast below, and if you like what you hear, sign your child up for a FREE Trial Class or spread the word to parents with kids who could benefit from our classes. We're charging ahead, pandemic or not, and we can't wait to see what lies ahead!
